How to Apply
International students must apply to institutions in Australia directly or through an education agent. You must obtain an application form. Contact institutions to request one or visit their websites. You may have to send this form either to a local agent of the institution in your country, or to the international office of the institution.

Entry Requirements
To be accepted to study on a student visa in Australia you will need to demonstrate a sufficient level of English language proficiency, and meet minimum academic requirements. For more details on entry requirements visit Study in Australia

Visas
Student visas are granted by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. The Department will only grant you a student visa if your course is registered, or is part of a registered course, on a full time basis.

For more information on registered courses and education providers, visit the Commonwealth Register of Courses and Institutions for Overseas Students (CRICOS) website.

Working While Studying
Most students are permitted to work and take up work placements or work as volunteers. However, you may not start working in Australia until your course has started. For more information visit Study in Australia
